________________________ The Ngoyla Mintom Campaign aims to:
1. Provide a viable option to the government of Cameroon for the development of Ngoyla Mintom without resorting to selling logging concessions.
2. Seek long term funding for the conservation of Ngoyla Mintom, especially a core protected area.
3. Support the sustainable use of buffer areas around the core protected area by local people and communities.
4. Secure income and employment to local people living in and around Ngoyla Mintom.
5. Support initial institutional set up and planning work for the long term conservation of Ngoyla Mintom.
6. Raise the profile of the Ngoyla Mintom rainforest.
7. Facilitate the financial and other support of lcoal institutions, communities and sustainable businesses by international organisations, donors and others.
